Director Sports, Chandigarh Administration invites applications on the prescribed format for one post of Steno-typist

Pay band: Rs.5910-20200 +Grade pay of Rs.2000/- .

How to apply:
The applications along with bank draft of Rs 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) for OBC candidates
and Rs.500/- for General Candidates in favour of the Director Sports, UT Chandigarh should reach
latest by 29th July, 2011 upto 5.00 PM in the office of Sports Department at Sports Complex, Sector
42, Chandigarh. Applications received thereafter will not be entertained.

Educational & Other Qualifications:
I) Bachelor’s Degree and proficiency in operation of Computer (word processing
and spread sheet) and a speed of 80 words per minutes in Stenography(English) and
speed of 20 words per minutes in transcription the same

AGE as on 1-1-2011:
Between 18 to 27 years of age as on the 1st day of January of the year immediately
preceding the last date fixed for submission of applications. In case of candidate belonging to
SC/ST/OBC upper age relaxable to the extent in accordance with the instructions of the Government
of India / Chandigarh Administration issued from time to time for the same. Upper age relaxable upto
5 years for other departments servants in accordance with the instructions of Govt. of India. The
departmental candidates who have rendered at least three years continuous service under Government
may be allowed to compete along with candidates from the Employment Exchange / open market up
to the age of 40 years in the case of General candidates and 45 years in the case of SCs and STs.
