C-DAC, Kolkata, an R&D Organization under the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications & IT, Govt. of India, invites applications for the following Contractual posts.
1. Project Engineer-I (PE-I) (3 posts with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 22500/-**) Essentials: BE/B. Tech/ MCA/ ME/ M. Tech/ DoEACC ‘B’ level (Computer/IT/Electronics/Bio-Medical Engg./Medical Electronics) or equivalent in regular course from recognized Universities/ Institutes with minimum 60% marks throughout the academic career.
Age Limit: 30Yrs
PE-I-Cat: A. Desirable: 2 Year development experience in Mobile Application Development in J2ME/Android/ JAVA Card/ Smart Card Technology. Candidates with post graduate specialization in Wireless Technologies/ Mobile Computing /Embedded Systems will be an added advantage
PE-I-Cat: B. Desirable: 2 years experience in J2EE architecture, programming skills in STRUTS Framework, JSF, MySql, PHP, AJAX, XML, HTML, MS .NET, Web Server, Linux with aptitude for Digital Library/Preservation project works.
PE-I-Cat: C. Desirable: 1-2 year(s) experience. Aptitude for Pattern Recognition, Soft Computing, Biomedical Experiments etc. is preferred.
2. Project Engineer-II (PE-II) (4 posts with a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 27000/-**) Essentials: BE/B. Tech/ MCA (Computer/IT/Electronics) or equivalent with 5 Yrs. relevant experience OR ME/M. Tech. (Computer/IT/Electronics) or equivalent in regular course from recognized Universities/ Institutes with 3 Yr. experience in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks throughout the academic career.
Age Limit: 35Yrs
PE-II-Cat: A Desirable: Candidates with Software Development experience and Assamese as mother tongue. Knowledge in Assamese & Bengali grammar, will be also desired.
PE-II-Cat: B Desirable: Experience in J2EE architecture, programming skills in STRUTS Framework, JSF, MySql, PHP, AJAX, XML, HTML, MS .NET, Web Server, Linux with aptitude for Digital Library/Preservation project works .
PE-II-Cat: C Desirable: Experience in the fields of AI/ Knowledge Engineering/ Soft Computing with strong programming skill in the fields mentioned above.
PE-II-Cat: D Desirable: Experience in Teaching in Post Graduate Level in the field of Embedded System (Linux, C & Kernel Driver) will be added advantage.
In addition CPF, Medical and Subsidized Canteen facility will be given. The duration of service contract shall be till end of the project or three years whichever is earlier (Renewable after One year based on performance).
