Extended Casual Vacancy Round Counseling for Admissions to Medical, Engineering and Architecture Courses and for Diploma Holders through Lateral Entry Scheme for the year 2011-12

NOTE:
1. The mentioned seat availability is as on 22-09-2011 and further seat availability position in all other colleges and all other combinations occurring due to surrender of seats will be updated on Website : http://kea.kar.nic.in on a daily basis. The consequential vacancy which arises will also be offered in this round
2. The merit list in respect of candidates who became eligible in the supplementary 2011 examination will be published on the KEA website http://kea.kar.nic.in on 25-09-2011. The data pertaining to the candidates who have passed Karnataka 2nd PU 2011 supplementary examination will be directly obtained from the department of PUE. However, the candidates who have passed 2011 supplementary examination from CBSE, CISCE, 10+2 boards should submit a photocopy of their 12th standard marks card to this office on or before 24-09-2011 by mentioning the CET-2011 admission ticket number.
3. Counselling will be conducted at the premises of Karnataka Examinations Authority, 18th Cross, Sampige Road, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
4. Candidates who are attending the counselling for the first time should bring all the necessary original documents along with one set of attested photocopies in support of their claim failing which they will not be allowed to select a seat.
5. The requisite fee in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of “The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority” payable at Bangalore should be produced at the time of counselling. If any student has already taken a seat through CET & attends for Extended Counselling and selects a seat in private / unaided colleges the difference of fees, if any, has to be paid by the student.
6. The instructions given in KEA information brochure for CET-2011 regarding selection of seats by the candidates are applicable to the above seat selection schedule CET-2011 also.
7. The candidates should be present in the KEApremises at least half an hour before the scheduled time.
8. Such of the CET-2011 allottees desiring to surrender their allotted seats and obtain refund of fees paid may do so before 5.00 pm on 28-09-2011 by submitting their application (Format-1 notified on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in). KEA will send the balance entitled fees paid by all CET-2011 allottees, who have already surrendered their seats, to their residential address by deducting a portion of fees already reimbursed with Rs. 5,000/- towards processing fees by RPAD by 30-10-2011.
