The selected candidates shall be required to undergo 18 months Forest Rangers Course during 2011-2012 in any one of the State Forest Service Colleges under the Director, Forest Education, Government of India, Dehradun and one year practical training in the department. The selection will be subject to the decisions of the Director, Forest Education, Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India in regard to the conduct of the Course.

Age : 19-32 Candidates born between 02.01.1979
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Degree in Science or Engineering from a University.
3. Range Forest Officer (By Transfer)
Department : Kerala Forest Department
Scale of Pay : Rs. 20,740 - 36,140
Number of vacancies : Four (4)
Age: 19-32 Candidates born between 02/01/1979 and 01/01/1992
Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Degree in Science or Engineering from a University.

The barcode number in the application form shall be quoted in all further enquiries/ correspondences. The admission ticket for the Physical efficiency test, Written test and Interview may be downloaded from the website using the bar code number. The documents to prove qualification, age and community have to be produced as and when called for. Applications which are not submitted in accordance with the instructions given in the website will be summarily rejected.
