Procedure for Applying online:
The online application form has been uploaded on the Corporation website mentioned below and will be available there from the 30th of August 2011 to 18th September 2011. The interested and eligible candidates can apply only through the online application and there is no other means to apply for the various posts advertized.

Application Fee:
The applicant has to pay the application fee as per his/her Category in the form of a Demand Draft from any of the Nationalized/Scheduled bank. The Demand Draft has to be “payable at Jaipur” and in favor of “Financial Advisor, Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation, Jaipur”. The fee for various categories is as follows:

1. General category, Other Backward Class (OBC) and Special Backward Class
(SBC) applicants have to pay – Rs.700/-
2. Applicant who is not a domicile of Rajasthan and belongs to some other state
has to pay, irrespective of his/her category – Rs.700/-
3. All Persons with Disability (PWD) and SC & ST applicants of Rajasthan have
to pay – Rs.175/-

Last Date for Applying Online:
The deadline for filling the application online is 30.09.2011 till 12 midnight and the last date for receiving the printed copy of the online filled application form along with the Demand Draft and a self addressed Registered AD envelope affixed on it, is 10.10.2011.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

GATE 2012 exam date is 29th Jan 2012 (online exam) and 12th Feb 2012 (offline exam).

Application fee is Rs. 1000 for General/OBC/ category and Rs. 500 for SC/ST/PD candidates. A candidate can apply for only ONE of the 21 papers.

GATE exam will be of 3 hours that contains 65 questions carrying 100 marks. The question paper will be of objective type. There will be negative marking for wrong answers, except for some questions.
For 1 mark questions, 1/3 mark will be cut for a wrong answer. For 2 marks questions, 2/3 mark will be cut for a wrong answer. There is no negative marking to the second question of the linked answer question pair.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

   1. National Eligibility Test (NET) shall be compulsory for appointment at the entry level of Assistant Professor, subject to the exemptions to the degree of Ph.D. in respect of those persons obtaining the award through a process of registration, course-work and external evaluation, as have been laid down by the UGC through its regulations, and so adopted by the State Government vide letter No.7/66-2003 C IV(3) dated 17.7.2009.    2. The minimum requirements of a good academic record, 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the master’s level.
   3. Third Phase of Centralized Allotment to Professional Degree Courses 2011
The activities relating to the third Phase of Allotment to Professional Degree Courses
2011 will begin on 24.08.2011. Facility will be opened for candidates to re-arrange higher
options, delete unwanted options and to register options to newly started Courses and Collegesfrom 24.08.2011 to 26.08.2011 on the official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The third phase of allotment will be published on 30.08.2011 based on the options registered till 5 pm on 26.08.2011. Candidates who receive allotment in this third phase will have to remit the fee/additional fee/deposit at the designated branches of SBT on 31.08.2011, 01.09.2011 or 02.09.2011. The list of SBT branches is given on the website www.cee-kerala.org. Those candidates who have remitted the fees can join the colleges from 31.08.2011 to 03.09.2011.

Those candidates who are satisfied with the allotment received in the Second
allotment should cancel their higher options. The facility to cancel the options is available
only through the home page of the candidate
